Springfield Symphony's Give Ozarks: Rally for Recovery Fundraiser

Give Ozarks Day Webslider

The Springfield Symphony has been a vital part of the Southwest Missouri community for 86 years. In the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, we did what few other orchestras could do: continue to perform safely.

Our orchestra players have continued to play music this Symphony season with double the performances. The Springfield Symphony would not be where we are without our orchestra players, which is why we need your help.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we cannot produce enough revenue to cover the costs of each monthly concert. Each month, we continually lose money from our inability to sell enough single and season tickets due to capacity restrictions. The cost of a Springfield Symphony concert payroll is $25,000. Help keep Springfield Symphony music alive by donating on March 24th!

The ability to donate for the Springfield Symphony's Give Ozarks Fundraiser will not go live until 7:00 AM on March 24th. Stay updated with the latest information on Give Ozarks Day by following us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

About Give Ozarks Day

Give Ozarks: Rally for Recovery Logo

Give Ozarks Day, presented by the Community Foundation of the Ozarks (CFO) and Bass Pro Shops, is March 24 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. With the theme “Rally for Recovery,” this regionwide giving day will offer nonprofits the opportunity to raise operating funds to help sustain their work after a year of fundraising cancellations, financial challenges and program disruptions, often coupled with an increased need for services during the pandemic.

Special thanks to Bass Pro Shops and the following sponsors for providing $60,000 in prize money: Burrell Behavioral Health; Central Bank and Central Trust Co.; the Louis L. and Julia Dorothy Coover Charitable Foundation managed by Commerce Trust; the Darr Family Foundation; Great Southern Bank; Guaranty Bank; the Hatch Foundation; Legacy Bank; Ollis/Akers/Arney; and SFC Bank. Media Sponsor: KY3/KSPR and Springfield Business Journal. The CFO will be livestreaming on Facebook Live (with help from KY3/KSPR and the Ozarks Performing Arts League) to announce the lucky winners of cash donations towards the organizations' fundraiser!
