Our April classical concert will be led by Diane Wittry and will feature renowned cellist Wendy Warner. Wittry is currently the music director and conductor of the Allentown Symphony Orchestra in Pennsylvania and the artistic director for the International Cultural Exchange Program for Classical Musicians with the Sarajevo Philharmonic in Bosnia. The concert begins with Heuberger’s exciting "Opernball Overture." Warner will then be spotlighted in performances of Saint-Saëns’s "Cello Concerto No. 1" and Tchaikovsky’s "Nocturne." The evening will conclude with Dvořák’s "Symphony No. 9 (from the New World)."
