And then there’s Germany, the country that gave us Beethoven, Brahms, Bach, Schumann, Schubert, Mendelssohn….You can’t have a world tour of classical music without a night in Germany. We will hear Brahms uplifting Academic Festival and Schumann’s delightful Rhenish, a symphonic celebration of Germany’s famous Rhine River. We’ll welcome our 2014 Hellam Competition 2nd Place Winner, Paul Hauer, to the stage on Sibelius' Violin Concerto, and conclude with the ever-popular Emperor Waltz, an Austrian favorite.
