| Our spectacular opening classical concert will be full of rich orchestral color and sound, along with breathtaking moments that will surely inspire. Soloist Chu Fang Huang is one of the up and coming stars of the music world having been a Van Cliburn Competition finalist and most recently the winner of the Cleveland International Piano Competition. Her incredible passion for music pairs her with one of the most passionate works, the Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto No. 2. The concert begins with a sumptuous Glazunov ballet score and ends with the Rimsky-Korsakoff’s musical telling of four tales from 1001 Nights Scheherezade, requiring a virtuoso orchestra to tell the story, which we have! |
