NANCY BACK, TRUSTEE

Mrs. Nancy Back has been an avid supporter of the Springfield Symphony for over 30 years! She joined the Symphony Guild in 1973, chaired numerous fund-raising events and served as Guild President. After becoming a Symphony Association Board member, she served as Secretary, Vice President and President from 1986 to 1988. She has also served in the boards of The Ronald McDonald House, the Springfield Landmark Preservation Trust, the Greene County Heart Association and the Junior League of Springfield. She joined the board of the Springfield-Greene County Park Department in 1995 and presided as Chair in 1999-2000. Nancy is married to Donald K. Back, M.D., now retired from Smith Glynn Callaway Clinic. They have four children and six grandchildren. Nancy said, “I am extremely proud of my association with the Symphony and think it is one of the greatest assets to our community.”
