KENNETH MCCLURE, IMMEDIATE PAST PRESIDENT
Mr. Kenneth McClure is the Vice President of Missouri State University. Previously he served as chief of Staff to Missouri Governor Matt Blunt. Ken served as Transition Director for Governor Blunt following the Governor’s victory in the November, 2004 elections.
Prior to joining Governor Blunt, Ken served as Associate General Manager-Administration for City Utilities of Springfield, Missouri. Prior to joining City Utilities, he was a member and chairman of the Missouri Public Service Commission (PSC). While on the PSC, he served as chairman of the Communications Committee of the National Association of Regular Utility Commissioners (NARUC) as well as chairman of the state members of the Federal-State Joint Board on Universal
Ken is a former Staff Director for the Missouri Senate Appropriations Committee and Deputy Director of the Missouri Department of Economic Development. He is a Springfield native, graduate of Parkview High School and holds degrees from Missouri State University and the University of Missouri-Columbia. In addition to serving on the Springfield Symphony Board of Directors, he has served on the boards of the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce, the Wilson’s Creek Battlefield Foundation, and the Council of Churches of the Ozarks.
