Mr. John A. Gerdes is a retired physician since August, 1999. He practiced with a specialty in Pathology at St. John’s Regional Health Center for approximately 30 years. In the past, he has served on the Wilson’s Creek National Battlefield Foundation and various medical, church and neighborhood committees. John is currently serving on the Springfield Symphony Board.
