BEVERLY YOUNG, BOARD MEMBER

Beverly and her husband, John, a former Symphony Board member, are Springfield natives. She is a graduate of the University of Missouri with a degree in English Literature and has studied the piano and violin. She has volunteered in many areas, especially enjoying working with the Arts, the Library, and Child Advocacy, and now volunteers with Meals On Wheels. She is a member of SMMA, Masterpieces Art Group, First and Calvary Presbyterian Church, the Symphony Guild and Junior League Sustainers and has served as the SMMA Board(President), Art Museum Board(ex officio), Junior League Board(Executive Committee), and the NAC Church Board as Deacon and Elder.
